It's 1:30am and I am waiting to board my 12 hour flight to Taiwan. My eyes are puffy and tired from crying and my body needs to sleep. After my final goodbye with Eric, I went to compose myself in the bathroom and found I also had a raging nose bleed to take care of. I can't remember the last time I had a nose bleed, I'm just thinking it's a good luck omen.
(Pardon the puffy eyes and gross bloody tissue, I just had to share)
To be perfectly honest, right now I am overwhelmingly impressed with myself that I am going through with this. My anxiety and worrisome nature can often prevent me from doing crazy things like this trip. It's amazing what we are capable of when we push ourselves past our comfort zone, and I'm not even out of Seattle yet.
